Hi, I'm Andrew – welcome to my website! Thanks for taking the time to visit.
After leaving school, I joined the Royal Air Force, where I proudly served for 10 years as a chef. Working both on base and in the field taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and staying calm under pressure.
After leaving the RAF, I spent the next 20 years in logistics management, developing strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills before following my passion for helping people learn to drive.
For the past eight years, I've enjoyed helping learners build the confidence and skills they need to become safe, responsible drivers. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone achieve the freedom that comes with passing their driving test.
I chose to work with LDC because everyone learns differently. The LDC teaching system allows me to tailor every lesson to your individual needs, so you can learn at a pace that's right for you. My aim is to make every lesson relaxed, enjoyable, and productive, helping you gain confidence while making steady progress.
Away from work, I've been happily married to my wife, Nicola, for over 27 years, and we're proud parents of three children. I've already taught my daughter and eldest son to drive, and I'm looking forward to helping my youngest son when he starts learning. Teaching my own children has reinforced the importance of patience, encouragement, and building confidence.
When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me out running. I'm a keen runner, an active member of my local running club, and regularly take part in races and marathons, often raising money for charity along the way.
Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to driving after a break, or looking to improve your skills, I'd love to help you achieve your goal of becoming a safe, confident driver.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your driving journey. See you on the road!
